Well if you count imprinting puppies with bird scent, since 1996. I volunteered at a local training and breeding kennel and one of my many duties was to make sure the pups were getting early exposure to bird scent and birds. Obviously, what I am doing today is far more in depth and precise than what I was doing then.  My first official litter was born in March of 2011.  I had played with diabetic scent work with pups that belonged to friends of mine in 2010, trying to shape what I wanted to build my program into.
